Separate vehicle price from compliance costs
A cart may include headlights, brake lights, turn signals, mirrors, and a windshield, but local authorization can still require inspection, permits, insurance, driver qualifications, and operation only on designated roads.
Ask which equipment is already included on the exact cart and which costs are paid separately to a city, state, insurer, lender, or installer.
Plan for ownership, not only purchase
Include charging or fuel, battery replacement, tires, brakes, routine service, weather protection, storage, and the accessories you truly need. A larger battery or passenger layout can change both purchase price and long-term use.
Compare complete proposals
When comparing carts, place the out-the-door vehicle details, included equipment, condition, warranty terms, financing disclosures, and known next-step costs side by side. The lowest advertised number is not always the lowest complete ownership cost.
